In winter, the weather in London turns colder, and it gets dark earlier, resulting in shorter days. It can rain quite a bit and sometimes be windy, so it’s good to have warm clothing and an umbrella handy. The city looks beautiful with Christmas lights, and there are festive markets to visit. While it doesn’t get as cold as in other parts of Europe, there can be occasional snowfall.
